Dr. Fine has over 25 years of medical device industry experience and is the co-founder of two successful medical device companies, Cybro Medical and OrSense. Dr. Fine’s impressive track record includes development and invention of variety of non-invasive novel medical devices like the fetal and adult reflection pulse oximeter (currently used in the market), non-invasive hemoglobin measuring device (currently in the market), non-invasive methods for blood pressure monitoring, pulse rate measurement, coagulativety of blood and others. In recent years, Dr. Fine developed the mDLS technology, a new way for blood flow monitoring. mDLS technology offers an innovative solution for blood coagulation monitoring, blood flow visualization and other blood parameters monitoring. Dr. Fine holds more than 40 patents in the fields of non-invasive measurements of SPO2, hemoglobin, glucose, RBC aggregation, blood flow, and more.
Prof. Shenkman is a Professor of Medicine at Tel Aviv University; Specialist, Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Metabolism. He also serves as the coordinator of the FP7 European Union-funded SaveMe Project – A novel nano-technological platform for pancreatic cancer diagnosis and therapy (FP7-NMP-2009- LARGE-3). He was the former chairman of medicine, Meir Hospital, Kfar Saba, and Program Director, New York State/American Program of the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, and he is the author of over 130 peer-reviewed articles. Prof. Shenkman brings to Elfi-Tech his vast experience in internal medicine including large population of patients on blood-thinning therapy and patients with various coagulation disorders.

Alex is a senior physicist at Elfi-Tech with close to 30 years of experience in the field of laser physics and optics. He’s published more than 30 scientific articles in the field of laser chemistry, isotopes separation, electronics, laser technologies in biosensors.
Dr. Naum Chernoguz, PhD, Mathematician and Algorithms Expert
Naum has over 30 years experience in the field of biomedical signal/image processing and system design, acting both as a software engineer and scientific researcher. He has published more than 20 scientific articles in the field of laser speckle contrast analysis (LASCA) and other optical techniques for blood circulation measurement. He also brings extensive experience in nonlinear, adaptive and robust stochastic estimation, system identification, statistics and control. Naum holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Industrial Process Automation at the Institute of Technology, Baku, Azerbaijan.
