Yossi Herman, Chairman of the Board
Yossi Herman, MBA, currently serves as Managing Director of Amphar B.V. He started his career at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd in 1976 and by 1988 became President and CEO of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries European operations up until 1992.He also serves as Chairman of the board at Brack Capital Properties N.V. He holds a BA in Economics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Ilya Fine, Founder, CEO, Director
Dr. Fine has over 25 years of medical device industry experience and is the co-founder of two successful medical device companies, Cybro Medical and OrSense. Dr. Fine’s impressive track record includes development and invention of variety of non-invasive novel medical devices like the fetal and adult reflection pulse oximeter (currently used in the market), non-invasive hemoglobin measuring device (currently in the market), non-invasive methods for blood pressure monitoring, pulse rate measurement, coagulativety of blood and others. In recent years, Dr. Fine developed the mDLS technology, a new way for blood flow monitoring. mDLS technology offers an innovative solution for blood coagulation monitoring, blood flow visualization and other blood parameters monitoring. Dr. Fine holds more than 40 patents in the fields of non-invasive measurements of SPO2, hemoglobin, glucose, RBC aggregation, blood flow, and more.
Menachem Eldar, Director
Mr. Eldar has served as chief operations manager for a number of leading companies in the pharmaceutical market, such as Perrigo Israel, and hold senior project management roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Eldar brings extensive experience in product development, and complex infrastructure projects, with experience in the building of a chemical and pharmaceutical plant for Agis Group, which produced sales of over $200M. Mr. Eldar holds a BSc. In chemical engineering from the Technion in Haifa, and an MA in Management from Henley College in London.
Benayahu Shemesh, Director
Mr. Shemesh is the former Vice President of Finance and Control at Tadiran which is an industrial concern with a sales turnover of $1.2 billion and 7,000 employees. Until 1994, the Company’s primary activities were managed in the framework of manufacturing divisions, within the following segments: Civilian Telecommunications, Military Communications, Military & Civilian Electronic Systems, Computer Software and Consumer Appliances. Mr. Shemesh brings excellent corporate experience to our company board and will help to guide Elfi-Tech toward becoming a robust and profitable business.
